Trihedral Introduces VTS 9.0

Now with 64-bit Support

Bedford, Nova Scotia - Friday, May 8th, 2009 - Trihedral is proud to roll out yet another new version of their flagship HMI software.  VTS 9.0 uses the power of 64-bit processors to support large data-rich applications of over a million tags on a single workstation.

Add to that more convenience features, ease-of-use tools, industry-leading redundancy and expanded options for integration with business systems.  The result is faster integration, easier configuration and greater flexibility.

• A 64-bit Version Available for Compatible Windows™ Operating Systems
  Memory addressing now far exceeds the 2G limit imposed by 32-bit systems
• Enhanced Security Options for Emailed Reports
  Additional security credentials required for email servers sending automated VTS reports
• Alarm Display Can be Filtered by Name
  Makes it easy to select just the alarms that you are interested in seeing
• Pause Button Added to the Scrolling Display in Historical Data Viewer
  Easier for operators to keep a time period on the screen
• More Alarm Configuration Options Built into Analog Status Tag
  Standard VTS alarm features like deadbands and delays now included in the alarms integrated into analog status tags
• Bitmap Images May be Flipped Left to Right When Inserted
  No need to have both left and right facing bitmaps
• Trial Key Extension
  30 day trials can now be extended with a new Key from Trihedral
• Enhanced Display Buttons
  Buttons can be configured to change appearance based on a range of mouse actions or to make a ‘click’ sound when pressed

Trihedral’s VTScada software product is an integrated part of VTS.  Therefore, VTScada applications are also able to take advantage of all new features added to VTS.
