Canadian Coast Guard Awards Standing Offer Contract

Trihedral Provides Onboard Systems Installation and Support for its Maritime Fleet.

Bedford, Nova Scotia – Monday, November 21, 2008 – Trihedral is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a two-year standing offer contract by the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) to continue providing alarm & monitoring and tank gauging solutions as well as technical support to the twenty-five vessels of the Maritimes region.

For over eleven years, the Maritimes Region of the CCG has been using Trihedral’s VTS Human Machine Interface (HMI) software as a replacement for aging monitoring infrastructure onboard its vessels.  During this time, Trihedral has developed several standardized modules for marine applications such as alarm and monitoring systems, tank level monitoring, and engineer’s callout systems.

To date, Trihedral has installed systems onboard the following vessels:

• CCGS Terry Fox, Heavy Icebreaker
• CCGS Henry Larsen, Medium Icebreaker
• CCGS Cygnus, Offshore Patrol Vessel

• CCGS Alfred Needler, Fishery Science Vessel
• CCGS Teleos, Fishery Science Vessel
• CCGC Bickerton, SAR Lifeboat
• CCGC Sambro, SAR Lifeboat
• CCGC Spindrift, SAR Lifeboat
• CCGS Mathew, Hydrographic Survey Vessel
