Integrated business systems can provide a consolidated view of the organization. As such, VTS includes utilities and drivers that allow data to be read into VTS from other applications, or extracted from the VTS historical databases to other applications.
Summarized data can be automatically written from VTS to external databases via periodic output schemes or may be written as required using the VTS Report Generator. Additionally, industry standard database drivers provide the means for applications to make direct data requests into VTS historical databases. This is especially valuable when using statistical data analysis packages or 3rd party reporting packages.
