The embedded VTS Alarm Dialer© ensures that your mission critical alarm and process information is always as close as your cell phone or landline.
Dial in
To obtain status and alarm information for your telemetric devices over the phone, dial into your VTS application and enter the same username and password you use at a standard VTS workstation.
Outgoing Alarms
Configure your alarm dialer to automatically send you alarm notifications via text-to-voice phone calls, emails, pagers, and SMS text messages. As of version 10.1, authorized users can remotely acknowledge alarms via email and SMS text message.
Control your system by phone
Whether you dial in or receive an automated call, you can use your phone to acknowledge alarms once the VTS Alarm Dialer has described them to you. Additionally, authorized users may change system set points, start or stop pumps, or send digital commands to equipment.
What if I can’t answer?
Create rosters of up to 30 authorized personnel. The alarm dialer will call each one sequentially until an alarm is acknowledged. You can configure a roster for the entire application or for just specific functional areas. There is no limit to number of rosters you can create.
Security
All changes made to security privileges in VTS are immediately applied to the VTS Alarm Dialer.
