VTScada SCADA Software Features / Efficient Tag Usage

Properties Dialog for VTS Pump Status TagVTScada includes several special tag types that were developed specifically for water and wastewater systems.

Combined Status & Control Tag Types
Status and Control tag types combine real-time data collection, historical data storage and alarm management into a single tag, rather than requiring a different tag for each feature. This helps to reduce development time and tag database size, leading to a more cost effective SCADA solution.

Each of these tag types includes parameters for high and low alarms, as well as delays on alarm reporting, reducing the likelihood of false alarms due to minor disturbances.

Logging on Change
'Historical data logging on change' is immediately activated whenever a new tag is added to the application. This helps keep databases relatively small while all important data is logged.

Historical Data Storage
Historical data is logged in a set of compact folders and is organized by month, allowing for easy monthly data archiving.

Preconfigured Pump Status Tag Reports
Pump status tags automatically associate with preconfigured pump status reports, displaying pump runtimes and starts/stops.
