VTScada's combined analog and digital tags reduce application development time and significantly reduce tag database size, leading to a more cost effective SCADA solution. Status and Control tag types combine real-time data collection, historical data storage and alarm management into a single tag, rather than requiring one tag for each feature.
Each tag includes parameters for high and low alarms, as well as delays on alarm reporting, reducing the likelihood of false alarms due to fluid ripple and other minor disturbances. 'Historical data logging on change' is immediately activated whenever a new tag is added to the application. By logging on change only, databases remain relatively small while all important data is logged.
Historical data is logged in a set of compact convenient folders and is organized by month, allowing for easy monthly data archiving.
