Trihedral has been designing and integrating control and monitoring systems in the marine industry for over fifteen years. These systems have been installed on ships of all sizes, from simple engine monitoring systems on 50 foot tugs to ship wide systems managing numerous functions on 350 foot commercial shipping and Coast Guard vessels.
Interface options range from pushbutton panels, to simple digital alarm readouts, to redundant panel mounted PCs. Any number of devices can be tied into the system including peripheral devices such as autopilot and GPS, and standardized drivers have been developed for engine control units (ECU) typically used in the marine industry.
