Overview
Access to the VTS Internet Server™ is protected by the username/password credentials held for each application by the VTS Security Manager. This is the sole protection that is afforded to a VTS Internet Server from unauthorized access. Therefore, these credentials must be securely guarded. One method of securing these credentials is to employ a Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This establishes an encrypted communications connection that is secure against decryption, replay attacks and many other hacking attempts. This document provides an overview for configuring a Secure Socket Layer for your VTS Internet Server.
Topics Covered - Secure Socket Layers (SSL)
