Adding Custom Image Groups

Note: You do not need to stop your application or VTS to perform the following procedure.

To add a new image group:

1.   Create a new subdirectory within your selected Bitmaps directory (e.g. C:\VTS\VTS\Bitmaps\My Image Group).

2.   Select or create an image that will be representative of the new image group.

3.   Name the representative image identically to the new subdirectory (e.g. My Image Group.bmp or My Image Group.wmf.

4.   Save the representative image directly into the Bitmaps directory (e.g. C:\VTS\VTS\Bitmaps\My Image Group.bmp).

Note: For each image group subdirectory, there must be a representative image file with the same name. It is this image that will appear on the image group's button in the Select Bitmaps dialog. (For example, the "Ducts" subdirectory has an associated "Ducts.wmf" image file that represents the "Ducts" image group in the Select Bitmaps dialog).

5.   Copy your custom graphic files to your selected Bitmaps group subdirectory.
