VTS allows you to add features from the alarm page to any of your application pages. You can even build your own customized alarm pages.  All of the components from the alarm page are available as tools within the Alarm Tools Library.

There are 15 tools in the Alarm Tools library, each of which facilitates the development of a customized alarm display. The alarm tools enable you to create a new Alarm page or enhance your graphics pages with smaller-scale alarm displays. You can replace the default Alarm page simply by hiding it from operators, or you can supplement its information by providing less complex alarm displays on your application pages. An example of the tools available in the Alarm Tools library is displayed below.

The sections that follow provide details on each of the alarm library tools. In the case of most of these tools, they pre-suppose that you have created a named alarm list on one of your application pages.  In the examples that follow, this will be named "CustomAlarmList".
