Aligning Objects to their Left

The Align Left tool enables you to manipulate 2 or more selected objects so that they align to the left of the left-most object. VTS treats the left-most object as the anchor and moves the other objects accordingly.

To align selected objects to the left, select the objects and click the Align Left button.

In the example below, the blue square and the red triangle will change position so as to align with the left side of the yellow circle. The shapes are framed within a box to help demonstrate their position.

The yellow circle appears furthest to the left of the page.	Select the objects.	Click the Align Left button.	The blue square and red triangle adjust themselves to align with the left side of the yellow circle.
