The Application Type drop-down list appears at the top of the VAM.

The purpose of this control is to allow you to filter the list of applications displayed in the VAM's Available Applications list so that you may find your application more easily. There are four possible selections that may be made using the Application Type drop-down list:
• Standard Applications: If you select Standard Applications in the Application Type drop-down list, only those applications that are based directly on the VTS layer (see Core VTS Layer) are displayed in the Available Applications list.
• Script Applications: If you select Script Applications in the Application Type drop-down list, only script applications are displayed in the Available Applications list.
• All: If you select All in the Application Type drop-down list, all applications that have been added to the VAM, regardless of their type, are displayed in the Available Applications list. Note: You may additionally have VTS applications on your PC that have not been added to the VAM.
• Custom Application Layers: If you select the title of an application in the Application Type drop-down list, only those applications that are based directly on the selected application layer are displayed in the Available Applications list.
Application types are discussed in greater detail in VTS Application Types.
