Available Applications List

The Available Applications list displays a directory of the VTS applications that are currently accessible in the VAM, as filtered by the Application Type drop-down list.

 

The Available Applications list may be adjusted as follows:

•    The Available Applications list can be filtered by application type, using the Application Type drop-down list (see Application Type Drop-down List).

•    By default, the Available Applications list displays the title of each application. Alternatively, you may select the Show Path checkbox to display the directory location for each application in the list (see Show Path Checkbox).

•    The order in which the applications appear in the list can be modified using the Move Selected arrows (see Move Selected Arrows).

•    To view the properties of any application selected in the Available Applications list, right-click the application's title (or path if the Show Path checkbox is selected).

•    To run an application displayed in the Available Applications list, simply double-click it.

 

Even when the Show All option has been selected from the Application Types drop-down, the Available Applications list does not necessarily display all the applications that are present in your VTS installation directory.  Rather, the Available Applications list displays only those applications that have been specifically added to the VAM. You can keep application directories and their resources within your VTS installation directory, but they will not appear in the VAM until you have specifically added them.
