The Tag Browser enables you to view the names and descriptions of the tags that have been configured for your application.
The list of tags displayed in the Tag Browser can be filtered by name using the Search field, by tag type using the Types drop-down list, or by area using the Areas drop-down list.

The Tag Browser example above displays the default settings for the Search field and Types and Areas drop-down lists.
Note: VTS also enables users to restrict the loading of tags belonging to a certain area on specific workstations, and therefore from appearing in the Tag Browser. If you wish to read about this process, please refer to the VTS Programmer's Guide: Config.ini [AREAS] Section Variables.
In addition to displaying the tags that have been configured for your application, the tag list has the following significant behaviors:
• The last tag that was drawn, added, copied, or modified is selected in the tag list for easier subsequent tag editing or drawing.
• The divider between the Name and Description columns can be dragged to resize them.
• Users can right-click any tag displayed in the list to view that tag's properties.
• Users can double-click any tag displayed in the list to launch the drawing methods associated with that tag's type.
Complete instructions for using the tag browser can be found under Working with Tags.
