Changing an Application's Name

Once an application has been created, you cannot modify its path, however, you may modify its name using the Application Properties dialog.

To modify an application's name:

1.   Stop the application.

2.   Open the VAM.

 

3.   Ensure that the application is selected in the VAM's Available Applications list.

4.   Click the VAM's Properties button. The Application Properties dialog will open.

 

5.   Enter the new application name in the Name field.

 

6.   Click the OK button.

 

The application's name will be updated in the VAM's Available Applications list according to your modification. The application's path (i.e. the name of the application's directory) will remain as it was when you initially created the application.
