You can change the tag associated with any drawing method on a page by right-clicking the object while the application is in design mode. The resulting graphic editor dialog enables you to open the Tag Browser to select a tag of the same tag type, or create a new tag of the same tag type to provide a value for the selected drawing method.
This capability is particularly useful in situations where you must configure a series of similar equipment installations. For example, if every station in your system contains the same layout, you can create the equipment and data layout for the first station, then copy the page and reassign the tags for the next station.
The instructions that follow will guide you through the process of selecting an existing tag, or creating a new tag to be associated with a tag drawing method.
1. Open the Configuration Toolbox to place the application in design mode.
2. Right-click the tag drawing method to which you'd like to assign a different tag. The tag drawing method's graphic editor dialog opens similar to the one shown below.

As shown in this example, the graphic editor dialog has a Tag field that displays the name and description of the tag currently associated with this drawing object.
3. Click the
button. The Tag Browser opens and
displays all tags of the same type as that originally used. (Not all types that
can be displayed with this drawing method)
4. Either select the name of the existing tag you want to associate with this drawing method, or click on New to create a new tag of the same type.
5. Make sure the tag you want is high lit in the list and click the Select button. The Tag Browser closes, and you are returned to the drawing method's graphic editor dialog where the newly selected tag's name and description are displayed in the Tag field.
6. Click the OK button. The drawing object now displays data for the newly selected tag.
The sections that follow identify all the pre-defined VTS tag drawing methods.
