Scope Application Configuration
If Granted Enables the Configure button in the Display Manager's title bar, and provides operators with access to the Configuration Toolbox. It should be noted, however, that the use of some of the tools in the Configuration Toolbox may be limited without the some related privileges (see below).
Notes Depending upon the configuration of the application, there are a variety of ways to stop an application from running (e.g. Stop or Exit buttons of the VAM, or the close button in the Windows title bar). The Application Close privilege prevents users from stopping a running VTS application using the close button in the Windows title bar, if one is featured. It does not prevent users from stopping an application using the VAM's Stop or Exit buttons.
When granting the Application Close privilege, take into account the familiarity of the operators with VTS and with the Windows operating system. Some operators who are unfamiliar with VTS and Windows may be unable to locate and restart an application once it has intentionally (or accidentally) been stopped.
