Configuring a Realm to provide WAP Content

A Realm on a VTS/IS provides the connection point for a WAP client device.  The following image shows a realm configured for Wireless Application Protocol.   One application has been made available on this realm:  WAP Demo Application.

Two key features of this realm are the choice of protocol and the port.

The WAP protocol must enabled in the Add Realm dialog.  The standard WAP port is 9201, but this may vary depending on your server.  The names shown in the figures are for demonstration purposes only.

 

Both the protocol and the port settings are entered while creating the realm, as shown in the following image:
