Configuring a VTS Application to Auto-start

Configuring a VTS application to auto-start will result in the application automatically running as soon as VTS has been started. This operation alleviates the need for operators to locate and run the application using the VAM, should VTS stop unexpectedly.

1.   Open the VAM.

2.   Select the application you wish to auto-start from the Available Applications list.

3.   Click the Properties button. The Application Properties dialog will open and display the properties of the selected application.

4.   Select the AutoStart Application checkbox.

5.   Click the OK button. The selected application will be displayed with an asterisk by its name in the VAM's Available Applications list indicating that it is an auto-start application, and it will automatically run on the next occasion you run VTS.

The section that follows provides instructions on how to hide the VAM.
