There may be occasion when you need to copy a local application from one computer to another when the two computers are not networked.
To copy an application from one computer to another, it is necessary to copy the entire application directory and paste it into the VTS installation directory on the destination workstation. Once the application directory has been successfully copied to the destination workstation, you can add the application just as you would any other application (see Adding Existing Applications to the VAM).
In the event that the application you need to copy is a layered application, you must ensure that you have copied the application directories of all related layers to the VTS installation directory on the destination workstation.
Note: It is not recommended that you copy a remote application from one workstation to another. Details appear in the following section.
