Creating Buttons to Allow Users to Respond to Alarms

Once you've configured a custom alarm list and provided users with buttons to change the category of alarms being displayed in the list, you should add some additional buttons to allow the management of alarms.

The Ack Selected Button tool allows you to draw a button that can be clicked to acknowledge the alarm that is currently selected in the custom alarm list. The Ack All Button tool allows you to draw a button that can be clicked to acknowledge all alarms in the system. When you are creating a custom alarm display, you should consider whether or not you want users to have the ability to acknowledge every alarm in the system at the click of a button. You may only wish to add an Ack Selected button to force users to acknowledge alarms on a one-to-one basis.
