The Add New button in the VAM launches the Add New Application dialog when clicked.

This dialog includes of the following three radio buttons:
• Create New: Enables you to create a new VTS application of any type. Step-by-step instructions for each type can be found in the topic, Steps to Create a New Application.
Possible types include:
• Standard Local: Based on the core VTS layer and designed to run on a single workstation.
• Standard Remote: Based on the core VTS layer and designed to run on multiple workstations.
• Layered Local: Based on the core VTS layer, plus a custom OEM layer, and designed to run on a single workstation.
• Layered Remote: Based on the core VTS layer, plus a custom OEM layer, and designed to run on multiple workstations.
• Script: Not based on the core VTS layer, created "from scratch" using the VTS scripting language.
• Find Existing: Allows you to locate existing VTS applications on your local workstation and reference them in the VAM so that they can be run. See Adding Existing Applications to the VAM for instructions.
• Get From Server: Enables you to search servers for remote VTS applications, retrieve, and run them. Detailed instructions can be found in the topic, Retrieving Remote Applications from a Server.
Note: If your PC does not belong to a network, the Get From Server radio button will be disabled.
