Current Alarm List

The current alarm list displays active alarms (both acknowledged and unacknowledged), and unacknowledged alarms (both active and inactive). In other words, if an alarm is either active or unacknowledged, or is both unacknowledged and active, it will appear in the Current list.

Note: Alarms that are active will also be displayed in the active list, while alarms that are unacknowledged will also be displayed in the unacknowledged list (see below).

There is no defined number of maximum records for the current list; however, as it only lists one instance for each alarm, entries can never exceed the number of alarms that have been configured for the application.

For a description of each field displayed in the list, see: Alarm List Fields.

Each unacknowledged alarm in the current alarm list will be highlighted in the color associated with the alarm, based on its priority. For example, the data for a critical alarm that is active but has not been acknowledged will be displayed in black text on a red background.

The text for any acknowledged alarms in the current alarm list will be displayed using the color associated with the alarm, based on its priority. For example, the data for a critical alarm that is active and has been acknowledged will be displayed in red text on a black background.

Note: You can right-click on any alarm entry and choose the Properties option to access the properties of the alarm tag responsible for the alarm. In the case of child tags, the parent tag's properties will be displayed.
