Data Sharing

Data sharing refers to inter-process communications. In other words, the ability of two independent running applications to share the same data. VTS enables you to share data between your applications and external applications by means of the following technologies:

•    Web Services using the SOAP transport protocol

•    Configuring an application to be either an OPC Server or an OPC Client

•    Configuring an application to be either a Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) server or client
