Note: Deleting a tag is a permanent, irreversible action, and cannot be undone.
To delete a tag, follow the steps below.
1. Click the Browser button in the Configuration Toolbox. The Tag Browser will open.
2. Use the Tag Browser’s searching and filtering capabilities to locate and select the tag you wish to delete.
3. Click the Delete button.
A confirmation dialog will open and request confirmation that you wish to delete the selected tag.
4. Click the OK button.
If the application runs only on a single workstation, this operation is complete. If this application is a remote application running on multiple PCs, continue with the following instructions to push the update out to all workstations.
5. Click the Remote Configuration button to open the Remote Configuration dialog.
6. Locate the resource item associated with the tag you deleted.
7. Click the Update Item button.
The tag will be deleted on all PCs running this application.
