Download the VTS Help Files to a VIC

VTS/IS enables VICs to download the VTS help files on demand, in the event that the appropriate help file does not exist on the client. To do so:

1.   Press the "F1" key on the client's keyboard while you are remotely viewing a VTS application running on a VTS/IS. A dialog is displayed, indicating that the help file is being downloaded.

 

2.   When the file has been downloaded, click the Close button. The dialog closes. The VTS/IS now has F1 help capabilities. Users may press the F1 key on their keyboard any time they wish to view help topics for a specific dialog or page. The Help file is not downloaded again unless the user manually deletes it from the VIC.
