To draw a pie object, select the pie button from the configuration toolbox.

When the Pie button is clicked, the arrow cursor will be replaced by a crosshair on the application page. This is a prompt for you to indicate where the pie object is to be drawn. Do not spend time attempting to be precise in locating the object, as it is much easier to drop a pie object of any size onto the screen and then adjust it rather than attempt to locate it precisely when first drawing it.
Step 1: Set the size, location and type
Referring to the illustration below, the process is to pick two points on screen, which will create a bounding rectangle, within which the pie object will be drawn. To create a circular pie section, hold the shift key down while you pick the two corner points. Otherwise, you can create an elliptical pie section by picking the corners of any arbitrary rectangle.

Step2: Set the start and end angles of the pie
As soon as the two corner points have been drawn, you will be prompted for a start and end angle for the pie object's end points. Note that the pie will be drawn counter-clockwise from the start point you indicate, towards the end point.

Step 3: Set the pie object’s style options
As soon as the pie object has been placed on the screen, the dialog box shown below will be displayed. Simply selecting the box labeled "OK" will result in a pie of default fill, line style and line weight being created.
Please refer to Using the VTS Graphic Editor for instructions on using this dialog box.
