Drawing a User Draw Method

To draw an instance of a DM (user draw method) on an application page, select it from the Configure dialog, right-click and select Draw:

You will be prompted for the location on the page where you wish to draw the item.  A preview of the image will appear, attached to the cursor.  Click on the application page as close as possible to the location where the item is to go.

If the DM does not contain parameters, then a VTS Graphic Editor dialog will open in which you can adjust such details as the instance's scaling, movement and visibility (see Using the VTS Graphic Editor).

If the DM does contain parameters, then a dialog will appear showing you the name and description of each.  In this dialog, you should provide a value or tag that will supply the value for each parameter. Details are provided in the next topic, Supplying Values to Parameters.
