Parameter values are linked to the menu entry that calls a particular page. You can have multiple menu entries for the same page, all with sources supplying the parameter values. The multiple menu entries can all have different text to distinguish them.
Thus, for example, if an application has ten identical stations, one page could be defined for a station, using parameters for all of the I/O tags. That same page could be called 10 times from the menu for the 10 stations, each time with a different set of I/O tags being used to supply the parameter values.
Note that changing the menu entry text causes a dialog to open, asking if you want to modify the title of the associated page. If you do so, it will change the title of the page for all other menu entries that call that same page.
You can edit the values associated with a page's parameters
by first selecting the page, then clicking the parameters button:
If the selected page does not have parameters, you will see the following dialog:

Click the OK button to exit from the error message.
If the page does have parameters, the Edit Parameters dialog will open as shown:

For each parameter defined in the page, the following will appear:
• A bitmap graphic that indicates the parameter's type
• The name of the parameter
• The description of the parameter below that.
• Either an edit field where you can type the value, or a tag selector.
You must provide values of the right type. For example, providing text to a parameter that expects a number will cause the following error message to be displayed:
