Event Log Button
The Event Log tool enables you to draw a list that displays the last 256 entries from the Modem Manager's internal log buffer, with the most recent entries at the bottom of the list.
Note: VTS makes it possible to save the data being displayed in the Event Log tool's list to a text file by providing a Save Log Button tool (see the Save Log Button topic for details).
An example of the Event Log dialog is shown here. The only user-configurable option is the title that will be displayed at the top of the log.
The result of the above configuration is a list labeled “Modem Events”.
The number of entries that you wish to have stored in the Modem Manager's internal log buffer, as well as the format for each entry can be customized using the Config.ini configuration file settings. Detailed information is available in "VTS Programmer's Guide: Config.ini [SYSTEM] Section Settings for the Modem Manager".
