Question: My VTS application is experiencing odd display issues (objects appearing in incorrect locations, misplaced and misaligned text, colors displaying incorrectly, etc.), although the application otherwise continues to perform correctly. What is causing the odd display?
A: VTS writes directly to the screen to ensure a steady display, and uses the supported features in the published commands for writing graphics to monitors. Some video drivers for certain cards (for example, ) do not support the whole hardware set of commands through hardware acceleration.
To remedy this problem, simply reduce the level of hardware acceleration on your video card drivers until your VTS application displays properly.
