HDV Preview Expanded Tag List Dialog

The Preview Expanded Tag List dialog displays a preview list of the tags whose data will be plotted on the Historical Data Viewer page. This list is especially helpful when a query has been used to assemble a group of tags for plotting, and you wish to view the details of the tags belonging to the group.

The elements of the Preview Expanded Tag List dialog are described below.

Name                                    The Name column displays the Name property that has been configured for each tag.

Field                                      The Field column displays the available value(s) that can be plotted for each tag in the list. Some custom tags have more than one value logged by an application; the Field column reflects this.

Description                         The Description column displays the Description property that has been configured for each tag.

Area                                      The Area column displays the Area property that has been configured for each tag.

Data Source Type            The Data Source Type column displays the data type applicable to each tag (i.e. the type of data that is read or written by each tag). This will be one of AnalogDataSource, DigitalDataSource, or NotebookDataSource.

Tag Type                             The Tag Type column displays the tag type applicable to each tag. The standard VTS tag types are described in Tags and Their Properties.

Close                                     The Close button closes the Preview Expanded Tag List dialog and returns you to the Tag Selector dialog.
