The History alarm list displays all alarms and events that have occurred for this application in chronological order (with the most recent alarms and events at the top of the list), including:
Acknowledged Alarms: When an alarm has been acknowledged, an entry appears in the history list. The text for these list entries will be displayed in the color associated with the alarm's priority. For example, the history list entry for an acknowledged high priority alarm will appear in orange text. (The default colors configured for the alarm priority tags in your application are identified in Alarm List Colors.)
Alarm Dialer Events: When the Alarm Dialer system notifies designated operators by voice, pager, and/or e-mail that alarms have gone unacknowledged for a user-defined period of time, an event is added to the History list (see Alarm Dialer System Event Logging "). Further, when an alarm e-mail has failed to reach its destination, an entry is made to the History list indicating that the e-mail failed and providing an error code.
Alarms with a Priority of 0: Alarms that have been configured with a priority of 0 (No Alarm) and are enabled are logged to the History list as an event (see "Alarm Priority 0 (No Alarm) Logging "). Such alarms are used for informational purposes and do not cause alarm sirens or flashing indicators to trigger.
Disabled Alarms: When an alarm has been disabled, an entry appears in the history list. The text for these entries will be displayed in purple by default.
Operator Control Actions: When an operator sends an outgoing value to a PLC or RTU via an analog output or digital output, or a modem tag transmits or receives data, an event is added to the History list (see Operator Control Action Logging ").
Remote Configuration Actions: When an operator performs a remote configuration action for a remote application using the Remote Configuration dialog (e.g. updates a resource item or removes a file), an event is added to the History list (see Remote Configuration Action Logging ").
Security Events: When a user logs on or logs off; a manager-level user adds, copies, deletes, or modifies a user account; or an administrator-level user modifies security-related administrative settings, an event is added to the History list (see Security Event Logging ").
Triggered Alarms: When an alarm has been triggered, an entry appears in the history list. These list entries will be highlighted in the color associated with the alarm's priority. For example, the history list entry for an unacknowledged high priority alarm will appear in black text on an orange background. (The default colors configured for the alarm priority tags in your application are identified in Alarm List Colors.)
Note: You can right-click on any alarm entry and choose the Properties option to access the properties of the alarm tag responsible for the alarm. In the case of child tags, the parent tag's properties will be displayed. This functionality does not apply to events (i.e. right-clicking any event will not launch a shortcut menu).
The History list contains the priority, event, time, date, and message of each existing alarm when it occurs, clears, is acknowledged, or is enabled or disabled. This list can contain up to 250 items and is maintained in memory (RAM) for fast updates.
