The Trihedral drivers will be stored on your system when VTS is installed. The TSP driver installs silently on all versions of the Windows operating system, but Windows will require you to confirm that you want to install the modem audio driver.
When you install a modem, or if you have one already when installing VTS, the following dialogs will appear: If installing on Windows XP, the first dialog will be the Found New Hardware wizard. The correct answer to its question is “No, not this time” since we do not need Windows to go looking for the driver.

In Windows XP, you will be notified that this software has not passed Windows Logo testing. You can safely select Continue Anyway.

If installing on Windows Vista, a different set of dialogs will appear as shown in the following two images. You should select “Install” for both.

After the installation process finishes, you can verify that the TAPI Service Provider has been installed by opening the Phone and Modem Options menu from the Windows Control Panel. You should see the Trihedral Voice Modem Service Provider listed in the advanced tab, as shown here under Windows XP:

To verify that the modem audio driver has been installed, you may view the Windows Device Manager dialog. Each modem has one audio driver installed, shown as a “Voice Modem Wave Device”. The following image shows how this would appear in Windows Vista where three modems have been installed:
