The Left Bar drawing method is used to display a tag's value as a horizontal bar, the length of which increases from the right towards the left as the tag’s value increases. When the tag’s value is at a minimum, the bar will be shown as a thin line at the right edge of its range. When the tag’s value reaches its maximum, the drawing method will be displayed as a rectangle, filling the range.

The graphic editor for the Left Bar drawing method will look like the following:

The Tag field displays the name and description of the tag that is currently associated with this drawing method. You can use this to select a different tag or parameter to use as the data source for this drawing method.
The Tag field is only present when editing a completed drawing method object
Opens the Select Color Dialog from which you can select a color for this object from the VTS palette.
Low Scale Range and High Scale Range
In most cases, these fields will be display-only, showing the Scaled Process Data Min and Scaled Process Data Max values configured for the associated tag.
These fields become editable when the drawing method is used to display a function or calculation tag. The most common use is to provide an output range of 0 to 100 (%) given a data source whose numbers do not match these values (perhaps ranging from 20 to 80, for example). Set the low scale range to the value expected from the data source when it is at its minimum and the high scale range to the value expected from the data source when it is at its maximum.
