Lock Item Privilege

Scope                                    Remote Application Configuration

If Granted                           Enables operators to lock remote application resource items such as tags, files, and/or pages for modification.

Notes                                    The Lock Item privilege applies to remote applications only.

Related Privileges            Configure Privilege

                                                Even if the Lock Item privilege has been granted, users cannot access the Remote Configuration dialog without the Configure privilege.

                                                Update Privilege

                                                When Lock Item has been granted, the Lock Item button on the Remote Configuration dialog is enabled; however, operators will not be able to release a lock, or remove, rollback, or update resource items using the Remote Configuration dialog without the above privileges.
