Log File Date

The Log File Date tool is used to place a label on your custom alarm display that shows the date of the alarm log file you are currently viewing in the History list.

Note: As indicated in Prev Log File Button, and in Next Log File Button, the default behavior for the alarm system is to create a single alarm log file (Alarms.log) in your application directory to hold the last 100000 alarm and event records that occurred in your system. When this file becomes full, the oldest records are overwritten with the newest ones. VTS also gives you the option to command the system to create daily, weekly, or monthly alarm log files, rather than a single log file. The Log File Date tool is used to display the dates for such log files.

The only configurable option in the Log File Date’s graphic editor is a selector that enables you to choose which of your custom alarm lists the date is to be displayed for.
