The following requirements must be adhered to for VTScada applications.

You must have one modem tag configured for each modem in your application.

With the exception of the modem tag assigned to the VTScada Alarm Dialer system (see Creating a Modem Tag with a Blank Area), you can configure different areas for each modem tag (i.e. the Area property for modem tags) to associate a given area of a plant with a particular modem.

The modem to be used for the Alarm Dialer system must be voice-capable.

The modem tag for your voice-capable Alarm Dialer system modem must have a blank Area property (see Creating a Modem Tag with a Blank Area).
