Modem Indicator Drawing Method

Available in all applications

Used by  Modem tags.

 

The Modem Indicator drawing method displays a graphic of an active modem control, showing the name of the associated modem tag. When the associated modem is dialing out or answering an incoming call:

•    The drawing method will flash (green and red activity lights will flash on the control when the modem is active).

•    The text "Incoming Call" will be displayed (for incoming calls).

•    The number being dialed will be displayed (for outgoing calls).

If the modem has failed for whatever reason, a red X will be drawn through the image.

A modem can be reset by clicking on the drawing method when the application is in operation mode. A modem can also be marked as failed or unavailable using the Disable option of the shortcut menu (right-click on the drawing method when the application is in operation mode and select the Disable option).

The graphic editor for the Modem Indicator shows no user-configurable options.
