The ID tab includes the properties required to identify this tag. The Name, Area, Description, and Help Search Key properties always appear on the ID tab for all standard tag types.

The Area property for a modem tag will normally be left blank.
If the modem tag has an area defined for it then only alarms that have the same tag area will be able to use that modem to dial out.
