The properties of the Virtual I/O tab of the Modicon driver tag properties folder are used to configure a virtual PLC in the memory of your PC.
Modicon Virtual PLC Input Coils can be written to, on a local machine.

The Holding Coils 0xxxx (0-9999) field enables you to indicate the number of 00000 holding coils in the virtual PLC.
The Input Coils 1xxxx (0-9999) field indicates the number of 10000 input coils in the virtual PLC.
Input Registers 3xxxx (0-9999)
The Input Registers 3xxxx (0-9999) field indicates the number of 30000 input registers in the virtual PLC.
Holding Registers 4xxxx (0-9999)
The Holding Coils 4xxxx (0-9999) field enables you to indicate the number of 40000 holding registers in the virtual PLC.
The Listen On Channel 1 through 8 checkboxes allow you to indicate the channels of the Modbus Plus network to which the virtual PLC should listen. Please note that these do not apply to serial or TCP/IP connections.
