MultiWrite Tag Type Properties: Write List Tab

The Write List displays the output tags that will be written to, and controls what value will be written to each.  The outputs will be written in the order in which they are displayed.

You can add or edit any tag in the list by double-clicking on a row.  The Edit Parameters dialog box will open in response to the double-click.

The Tag list displays the name of each tag selected to be written to.  The Value column shows what will be written when the MultiWrite is triggered.  The value may be any of a constant, an expression or another tag’s value. In the case where another tag’s value is to be written, that tag’s name will be display in the Value column.

The buttons down the right side of the panel provide the following functions:

Move Up              Moves the selected tag up the list so that its value will be written sooner.  Enabled only when the currently selected tag is not the first in the list.

Move Down         Moves the selected tag down the list so that its value will be written later.  Enabled only when the currently selected tag is not the last in the list.

Add Tag               Opens an empty Edit Parameters dialog, where you can select a new tag to write to and set the value to be written.

Edit Tag                Opens the Edit Parameters with the contents of the currently selected row.  Enabled only when a row containing a tag is selected.

Remove Tag         Removes the currently selected tag from the list of those that will be written to.  You will not be prompted to confirm this action.
