Offline Changes

Using the "Remote Configuration" dialog and the locking scheme for resource items works well for online configuration while a remote application is running. There may however, be circumstances where you wish to modify your application's files, pages, or tags without running the application. Changes made to an application when it is not running are known as "offline changes".

The procedure for offline tag changes differs for tags, as opposed to the procedure for pages and files. The sections that follow discuss both types of offline changes.
