Page Properties Advanced Tab

The Advanced Tab contains controls for the window size, location and appearance.

Window Properties

These apply only to pages that are opened as a window, separate from the main application.

Position    Sets the location of the upper left corner of the window, measured in pixels from the corner of the screen.

Size          Sets the initial size of the window, measured in pixels.

Minimum Size     If the window is resizable (set on the Properties tab) this sets the minimum width and height to which the operator is allowed to stretch the window.

Maximum Size     If the window is resizable (set on the Properties tab) this sets the maximum width and height to which the operator is allowed to stretch the window

Page Style:

These settings override the default page style. A page may be displayed either in the main window (normal) or as an independent window similar to dialog box (windowed).  You can control the appearance of both types of page through the Change buttons in the page style area, each of which will open a Page Style dialog similar to that shown in the following image.

The page style dialog allows you to enable or disable the display of all the components that make up application's title bar (top of the screen) and task bar (bottom of the screen).  You can choose to display all the components of each (the default state) or you can pick and choose individual components.

The checkbox "Hold Page Button Changes Target" is a function, not a decoration.  When enabled and when you have page buttons on the task bar as shown in the preceding example (Station Control and Overview) then you can replace one button for another by the following steps:

1.   Open a new page using the menu

2.   Move the pointer over a button that you want to replace for a link to the current page.

3.   Click-and-hold the mouse on that button for three seconds.

4.   The link to the old page will be replaced with a link to the current page.

Background

Sets the default background color for pages in the application.

Bitmap Margins

When using a background bitmap on a page, you can use these values to set the top, bottom, left and right margins for that bitmap.

By default, the margins apply only to full-screen pages. You also have a choice of using the margins for windowed pages.
