Files with the extension ".PAL" are palette files. VTS contains a file named, "Palette.pal", which is a binary file defining the colors of the VTS palette. There are 256 distinct colors in the VTS palette. It is recommended that you utilize the VTS palette when you are creating custom bitmaps and backgrounds for your application.
