Please Logon Dialog

Clicking the Logon button, visible only when no user is currently logged on to a VTS application, causes the Please Logon dialog to open as shown in the following image:

The Please Logon dialog requires users to enter their security username and password. Once a user has successfully logged on, the label of the Logon button identifies the username of the user logged on to the application.

If user groups have been created, the Please Logon dialog will have an additional field as shown in the following image.  For more information about group logons, please see the section User Groups.

 

After an operator has successfully logged on to the application, the Logon button will now display their username. Clicking this button now opens the Options dialog that gives the operator admission to the security features that are accessible according to the privileges that have been granted to their account.
