Previewing the Expanded Tag List

The Historical Data Viewer’s Preview button (found in the group of 8 buttons at the bottom of the page) is useful when a query has been used to assemble a group of tags for plotting. The dialog will show you all the tags that will be returned by that query and therefore plotted in the HDV.

 

If you have selected individual tags to plot, the preview button simply shows you your list.
