You can easily print the alarm list being viewed simply by clicking the Print button that appears in the Display Manager's title bar.

The Alarm List Print dialog (shown below) opens, and enables you to configure the time period for the alarm entries you wish to print, and the method of printing.

The components of the Alarm List Print dialog are as follows:
Alarm List Print Dialog Element Description
All The All radio button enables you to print all alarms that are currently displayed in the alarm list (according to the selected List Option button).
Range The Range button enables you to select a start date and time and an end date and time. Alarms that have occurred between the start and end date will be printed.
Print to File When selected, the Print to File checkbox enables you to save the alarm list to a text file, rather than printing to the default Windows printer. You will be given the opportunity to enter the extension and location for the text file.
Instructions for Printing
1. Select the List Option button that represents the alarm list view you wish to print to a file.
The corresponding alarm list view is displayed.
2. Click the Print button that appears in the Display Manager's title bar.
The Alarm List Print dialog opens as shown.

3. Decide whether to print all records or only records from a range of dates
• If All records, select All and continue with step 4.
• If a range of dates:
a) Select Range
b) Enter the date and time of the start of the range
c) Enter the date and time of the end of the range
4. (optional) Select Print to File
This option allows you to save the records in a file instead of sending them to the printer. Additional steps will be required, as described below.
5. Click the OK button.
• If the Print to File option is not selected, the alarm list is printed on the default Windows printer. While the alarm list is being printed, a progress dialog indicates the number of alarms being printed from the list. This completes the steps.
• If the Print to File option is selected, the Print to File dialog opens as shown. Continue with step 6.

6. (optional) Enter a name for the file in the File Name edit field.
By default, the file name is set to "Alarms.PRN".
7. (optional) Select a file type from the Save as type list.
The available file types (Printer file (.PRN) or text file (.TXT) are displayed, as shown below. The only difference will be the three-letter extension in the file name.

8. Click the Save button. The print file (or text file, depending upon the file type you've chosen) is saved to the specified location.
