VTS includes a built-in Reports page that you can use to generate reports on the equipment process data in your application.
With VTS's powerful report generating features, you can choose from a variety of different report types, choose the data to be included or omitted from the report and select a time period and output type for your report.
The Reports page is displayed below.

The Reports page is made up of a series of elements that enable you to specify the conditions under which each report should be generated. These elements are numbered in the order that they will normally be used when creating a report.
1 Report Type. See: Types of Reports.
2 Tag List. See: Selecting Tags for Inclusion in a Report.
3 Reportng Period. See: Report Time Periods.
4 Number of Consecutive Periods. See: Generating a Number of Report Iterations.
5 Report Destination. See: Output Formats for Reports.
6 Report Options. See: Additional Report Options.
Instructions for generating a report can be found in Generating a Report. Note that the date format used by your report is controlled by the variable, ReportDateFormat, in your CONFIG.INI file. For details, please see the Programmer’s Guide: Configuration Variables for Report Generation.
Note: In addition to the reports page, VTS also allows you to define a report and then re-generate automatically every hour, day, week, etc. See: Report Tags. Before attempting to create a report tag, it is helpful to have learned how to use the reports page.
