The VTS remote configuration dialog allows you to roll back changes that you have made. This can be done either one item at a time, or all at once.
Note: It is important to note that resource items that have been updated using the Update Item or Update All buttons cannot have their changes discarded using the rollback buttons. Once an item has been updated, the changes are permanent.
Rollback Changes to One Resource Item
1. Logon to a user account that has been granted all system privileges.
2. Click the Configure button in the Display Manager's title bar.
The Configuration Toolbox opens.
3. Click the Remote Configuration button (labeled with a key).
The Remote Configuration dialog opens and displays all resource items for the application.
4. Select the name of the resource item you have modified, and whose changes you wish to undo. The selected resource item is highlighted in blue.

5. Click the Rollback Item button. The modifications you have made to the selected resource item are discarded, and the resource item reverts to its last configuration.
Rollback Changes to All Resource Items
In addition to enabling you to rollback modifications made to individual resource items, VTS provides you with the option of rolling back modifications made to all items at once. Rolling back changes to all resource items is almost the same process as rolling back changes to one resource item, except one additional confirmation dialog is involved.
Note: In the event that users other than you have resource items locked for addition or modification, rolling back changes will result in those users losing all modifications made to their resource items. It is therefore recommended that you use caution when doing so.
The steps that follow provide instructions on rolling back all resource items.
1. [If security is enabled] Logon to a user account that has been granted all system privileges.
2. Click the Configure button in the Display Manager's title bar.
The Configuration Toolbox opens.
3. Click the Remote Configuration button (labeled with a key).
The Remote Configuration dialog opens and displays all resource items for the application.
4. Click the Rollback All button.
A Remote Configuration dialog opens and requests confirmation that you wish to continue the rollback process.

5. Click the OK button to rollback all locked resource items and discard any changes made to any of these locked items since they were locked.
Rolling back all locked resource items enables you to revert the files back to the state they were in when they were first locked (either by your workstation, or by another workstation).
It is very important to note that once you have updated one or all items (using the Update Item or Update All buttons), they cannot be rolled back; the changes are permanent.
